Regional Alumni Communities
As a result of the Clark University
Alumni Association strategic plan, Regional Communities have been created
to (1) improve and increase communication between alumni and other
members of the Clark community and (2) to expand the Alumni Association’s
governing structure to ensure representation across constituencies.
The objectives of these communities are to serve as local contacts
for other alumni and students needing advice about a particular region:
areas to live, professional contacts, places to socialize and network,
serve as a conduit to the University—a focal point the University
can seek opinions and feedback from; assist with admissions and the
promotion of Clark’s name in their region; and to support regional
events. COPACE has designated Julie Parent (MSPC 99) as the head of
the COPACE Regional Community.
The COPACE Regional Community Committee is currently looking for 3
to 4 COPACE alum to serve on this committee with Julie. The time commitment
is minimal— we hope to conduct most of our business via email
with maybe one meeting a year at Clark.
If you are interested, please
contact Julie at jparent@clarku.edu
or 508-793-7623.
This is your opportunity to get more involved with the alumni association.
Please consider joining the COPACE Regional Community committee.
During the Clam Bake at Reunion Weekend 2006, COPACE honored two of the five first graduates of the College of
Professional and Continuing Education: Mr. John Kilcoyne and Mr. Paul Rossman. Pictured below are Dean Tom Massey and John Kilcoyne and Paul Rossman.
